"Chang Thai Hornby Restaurant has officially become one of our favourite places to eat! This was our second time here, and honestly, the food and atmosphere were just as amazing as we remembered.

The first time we came here, I completely forgot to take pictures because I could not wait to eat the meals 😝 — that is how yummy everything looked and smelled! This time, we enjoyed the Lamb Shank Massaman, Volcano Stir Fry, Pad Thai, and a refreshing lime drink, and every single dish was full of flavour, comfort, and love.

The Lamb Shank Massaman was rich, tender, and absolutely beautiful. The Volcano Stir fry was exciting, bold, and packed with flavour, and the Pad Thai was fresh, tasty, and so satisfying. Every bite made us smile.

The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful meal. A special mention to Ami, who was amazing 🤩 — so friendly, kind, and welcoming. She made our experience feel extra special.

"Recommend by friend and this is the 3rd time back!!!! Super friendly staff and food is simply the best Thai in Christchurch! We have ordered pink noodles, which is the flat rice noodle and comes with heaps of sides, and good mild spicy, allow you to appreciate the chille while not too hot. Also recommend the grilled pork neck served with sticky rice, defo grilled not ovens as you can tell when you have it in your mouth! We have the desert named Ruby and looks lovely as it yummmmmy! Then sold out the top 2 dessert, again! Must be very good, so sure I will back!"

Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (During the NZ Winter season, dinner hours are 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM). We are closed on Mondays and all Public Holidays.
